On our longest (but still incredibly worthwhile!) episode yet, we take a dive into the world of internet critics. The Fellas, look through a historical lens, at the origins of film criticism and how it lead us to the wild west of video critics (i.e. The Nostalgia Critic) and blog critics (i.e. Letterboxd, Rotten Tomatoes). The internet has changed the way we look at movies and The Fellas are here to whine about it! But also, it’s a scary and dangerous time in Hollywood. Acquisitions, mergers? Won’t somebody explain all of this nonsense? Of course, The Bargain Fellas are here to just that, taking a look at the Warner-Discovery merger and the Amazon acquisition of MGM.
Why are all these critics so angry? Will Amazon’s purchase of MGM affect me as a movie fan? And is self-inflicted genital mutilation a viable form of criticism?
All this and more on Bargain Binge - the last bastion of physical media and your wallet!
Our stuff this week:
Demon House (DVD)
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Blu-ray)
Alejandro Jodorowsky 4K Resotration Collection (Blu-ray box set)

Check out these good internet critics:
I want to note that an endorsement of a certain drunken movie reviewer on the show does not include that person's shitty takes on women. I just saw a video that asshole posted recently and took out the link to that channel. These shitty takes in no way are endorsed by our podcast. - Dylan
